The name Wildwood harks back to a time when Britain was a continuous woodland where a red squirrel could go from Lands End to John O’Groats without touching the ground – this informs our philosophy of conservation, treading lightly and respecting nature wherever possible.
Wildwood was established in Buckinghamshire in 1999. It is owned and run by Mark Flynn, a qualified and experienced tree surgeon. He trained to become a tree surgeon in Bath during 1995 and worked in and around the Bath area between 1996 and 1999. Part of his experience during that period was on major trees in the Longleet estate and as an accomplished and experienced commercial climber Mark has also been enlisted to assist in the training of new tree surgeons.
Having moved to the Rosneath Peninsula in 2022, Wildwood Tree Surgeons aims to protect the unique and breathtakingly beautiful landscape, keeping the Peninsula as woody and wild as possible while catering for client’s specific needs – helping people and trees to live together.
